Recovering Nicely, Thankfully

Molly is doing quite well, really.  We are transitioning to a normal diet. As you can see, she sleeps a lot and yesterday enjoyed some company from her "brother,"
Brooksie (the black feet, upper, right corner).
She wags her tail!
We know that she has cancer - a type which, if it spreads, will do so slowly and will likely not metastasize.  So the upshot is: that we are so glad to have her home and we don't know how much more time we have but, damn, are we ever so grateful for what we've got.  Joe Garagiola once said that we rent our dogs from [God] [whomever] and that we are just so grateful for the long lease we enjoy.  So true.
I, on the other hand, enjoyed a 24 hour G.I. issue from which I will spare you (is anybody out there?) the details.  My good friend, E., suspects my defenses were down during the process in navigating through the whole ordeal.  I think she's got something there.  And I, too, am recovering. I am so thankful.
