Last night I watched the Magnificent Ambersons - and I was hooked. This classic film directed by Orson Welles just blows my mind every time I watch it; which is rarely. Above, Tim Holt, Delores Costello and (the DIVINE) Joseph Cotten. Love, jealousy, heartbreak, Oedipus rex, traditions: this has it all. The complex and sublime Agnes Moorehead is brilliant.
